Who doesn't love doing an impromptu séance right in the middle of drinks?

Listed as one of Mashable's movies to watch out for at SXSW, Ted Geoghegan's Brooklyn 45 is set in 1945 and follows a group of military veterans who gather for a friendly reunion. But their plans to drink and listen to some jazz get interrupted when one of them suggests performing a séance to contact their late friend Suzy. Naturally, things go awry, with the group getting haunted by ghosts they hoped they'd never have to see. Will they survive the night? Or will blood be shed?

Brooklyn 45 stars Anne Ramsay, Ron E. Rains, Jeremy Holm, Larry Fessenden, Ezra Buzzington, and Kristina Klebe.

Brooklyn 45 streams on Shudder(opens in a new tab) and AMC+ on June 9.
