If you've procrastinated a bit on buying gifts, don't worry. You're not the only one in this situation. Do you have a pensive person in your life you still want to shop for? Amazon has something that might be perfect.

As of Dec. 19, the Ancestry DNA + Traits kit is on sale(opens in a new tab) for only $49 on Amazon. Normally sold for $119, you can thank the holidays for this steep $70 discount. The kit includes instructions for online activation, swabbing your saliva, and a pre-paid package you can use to send your sample over to AncestryDNA's labs.

Results are usually ready within 6 to 8 weeks and include a genetic breakdown of traits that played a role in your appearance, health, fitness, and heart rate. You'll also get ethnic estimates by parental side and come closer to building a family tree.

Note that delivery before Christmas depends on the area, and some users won't be able to get matches by parental side until February 2023. Prime users qualify for free delivery. Make sure to check your delivery estimate by location if you want something before the 25th.
