We're used to seeing Sydney Sweeney as troubled teenager Cassie in Euphoria, but now she's returning to HBO in a whole new troubled light.

Reality, a full-length docu-drama from Tina Satter adapted from her play Is This a Room, sees Sweeney playing former NSA translator Reality Winner who was imprisoned(opens in a new tab) at 25 years old on the charge of gathering, transmitting, or losing national defense information after leaking classified documents to The Intercept about Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election. Winner was the first person charged(opens in a new tab) by the Trump administration under the Espionage Act.

Satter used dialogue from the FBI's real interrogation transcript as part of the script for the movie, which also stars Josh Hamilton and Marchánt Davis.

Reality is available to stream on Max from May 29.(opens in a new tab)
