Jennifer Opal, founder of The Opal Company and The Opal Blog(opens in a new tab), is an award-winning technologist, DevOps and software engineer, writer, keynote speaker, and neurodiversity and inclusion advocate. She recently was selected to serve as a United Nations Women UK delegate on the Commission on the Status of Women.

Opal has been was recognized among Computer Weekly's Women In UK Tech Rising Stars for 2022 and sits on the Co-Production Board of Neurodiversity in Business, an industry forum that seeks to improve the inclusion of neurodivergent people in the workforce. Through The Opal Company, she partners with organizations to educate and create safe spaces supporting neurodivergency and people of color in the tech industry and within corporate spaces. As founder of The Opal Blog, Opal has received recognition for sharing human stories on her experiences as a Black, neurodivergent woman in the technology industry, as well as stories on mental health.
